Pivotech kits: how we do it

An email from you puts your kit order into action. A member of the Pivotech team processes your order and calls you if clarification is needed.

Another team member double-checks your kit order to have fresh eyes look for any possible errors. To save you time, we calculate the glass sizes and email them to you. Then your kit order goes to the factory for fabrication. Components are collected and prepared for shipping.

The aluminium is cut on double mitred saw, for a precise, exacting finish. Next, your aluminium is cut on Tiger stop. Then, the aluminium is punched using the tooling and drilled using drill jig.

We developed Pivotech’s kit wrapping process to protect the aluminium from scratches or damage during delivery. The aluminium is paper interleaved and bundled and components are joined with the bundle. Your kit order is boxed.

The box is labelled with your order number and address for clear communication with the freight company. We organize the freight for a smooth delivery and your kit is on its way to you.

Our kitting process gives you a gorgeous, finished result, with less work and less worry.

Meet the team: Stephanie Davy

Image of Stephanie Davy, Pivotech Customer ServiceDon’t let her calm exterior fool you. Stephanie is a bright spark of energy, ideas and fun.

Stephanie joined the Pivotech team in Melbourne in 2013 after completing her Master of Science Communication Outreach degree.

She chose Ai because of the company’s focus on continuous improvement in all we do and coming up with practical solutions to better suit our customers.

Stephanie’s undergraduate degree is in Materials Engineering, featuring a focus on metals (including Aluminium), their properties and process improvement. It was the Aluminium in Aluminium Industries that caught Stephanie’s eye.

Prior to coming to Ai, Stephanie performed in a wide variety of roles, including research, report writing, content development, education, customer service and administrative support, for a wide variety of companies, including CSIRO, Science in Public, Princess Cruises, VicRoads Road Safety Behaviour, The Glen Back Care and Sports Therapy Centre, Scienceworks Museum and Spellmasters.

We are thrilled Stephanie brought her technical, communication and presentation talents to our customers.

Please note: holiday closures at Ai

The last day of business for 2015 at Aluminium Industries is Friday, 19 December. We’ll return to business as usual on Monday 12, January.
